1812 Eskimoture: Draw Proposal #1

Postby nanooktheeskimo » 12 Jun 2018, 09:26

Draw proposal numero uno has been made! The proposal is made by Rusnee, and includes the British Empire, USA, the French, and Rusnee. NOT included in the draw are Chaustria or New Denmark. Proposal will stay open until a turn processes or it is vetoed.

Reminder of draw proposal rules:
them's the rules and there ain't no others wrote:All draws must be voted through unanimously by all remaining players on the board, but they do not have to include all survivors. A draw can be proposed at any time, and will be canceled as soon as one veto is recorded or until a turn is processed, whichever is sooner. Draw votes can be submitted via PM or as a comment on the draw proposal post. Please note that votes left on the map post will not be counted. Players are limited to one draw proposal per turn.

Clarification: a turn is defined as a movement turn (i.e., not builds or retreats).

Since I proposed it, I'll approve it.

I'm okay either way. I'd enjoy going on for a bit more, but I think NoPun is probably right and we're headed for a draw anyway.

I guess that makes me a "yes" vote that won't be upset if it gets voted down.

I'll accept, and what is more if it goes through I will demand that the Austrian units are allowed to retreat so their genocide will avoided by the end of the game.

I will accept the draw.

The rules state
[A draw] will be canceled [sic] as soon as one veto is recorded or until a turn is processed

Could you clarify whether "a turn" just refers to a move phase or whether it includes adjustments and retreats. Given nothing was announced I am assuming that when the adjustments phase was processed every player ad not agreed to the draw. Does that mean that the proposal is dead or is it still alive until the spring orders are processed (or until someone vetoes it)?

A turn meaning a movement turn. Sorry, that wasn’t entirely clear!
