Not clear yet which way she will go, or when she will arrive in the area (most likely, I'm told, September 14 or 15), but for those flying in or coming by car, keep an eye on the weather and your travel connections. Those of you coming by boat should be fine.

Our dinner is Friday October 5th. You're more than welcome if you can make it :)

Starkadder - you may need to help me out.

Looked up the menu.
https://www.bucadibeppo.com/menu/dinner/

Everything on the menu says 'serves three people.' Either VERY big portion sizes or we need to dine in threesomes.

America is a strange place. :D

Basically you just order like 5-6 dishes for 15 people...and everyone takes a little bit of everything. They are insanely large portions

It's family style dining. It generally reduces the overall cost for everyone and you get more variety.

Not going to make it - taking Fri. AM as my drop round for work reasons.

Have fun!

You'll be missed! We may still be going after the Friday evening round ends, you're more than welcome to come hang with us if so.

Florence is going to make things wet here for sure - but given that WDC is in October .... I think we're going to be ok on that front!

And HEY, if you live in DC, how come I don't know you from the F2F games we've been playing here for the last 20 years?

^^^ Also this!

There's a decent size player base around DC. You should play with us! They're pretty good people when they aren't sliding a knife between your ribs.

ALMOST definitely confirmed???? Omg Clem... you are killing me.... of course I will be there! Sheesh... the opportunity to meet you folks face to face! couldn't pass that up... I'll get the specifics when I get there... There is another member here with whom I stay when I come down to DC for house games... Funstyle is his name here, Rob in reality. I can probably twist his arm into coming also.
