What's really sad is, if the Dino/sharks go away, there's going to be a lot of people posing in shoutboxes "Hey, anyone know what ever happened to the T-rex & Shark Icons?"

...Because the vast majority of people who PLAY on this website, are ignorant about (or simply ignore) the forums.

What about an icon rotation for a different months/seasons?

So that way we can keep both dinos and griffins and everyone is happy .

I would ALSO like to point out that IF "Wings" (AKA: aircraft) are ever agreed upon and introduced as part of the "Modern Diplomacy" variant... there will be confusion among new players, as Griffons have wings, and can fly!

Problem with the griffin/ sea monster and a couple of the other icon sets presented is that they have lot's of tiny details (relatively).
I feel that goes against some of the purpose of an icon. Icons should always be clear / concise. Detailed icons might not display well on all maps and screens, especially since more people are moving to smaller screens with time.
