ODC Round 3 underway

I responded in time and have been active in all rounds thus far. How am I not in the draw?

Not to be rude, but How can someone who played in the first 2 rounds AND replied in time for confirmations not be secured a seat? The additional people invited in later rounds were supposed to be for replacements when someone had to drop out, which I DID NOT

It is unfortunate that tournament rules do not clearly cover every situation that arises and sometimes, the tournament director will be required to make a call. As stated in the OP, I will be taking a "get on with the show" attitude. This philosophy means that when I need to make a decision, I will back myself to make that call in the best interests of the tournament and based off the information I have available. I accept that not everyone will agree with every decision and some parties will lose out.

With respect to this current issue, I publicly apologize to CapturingBravo for not consulting them prior to my decision and for any undue stress cause by the abrupt way in which they would have been informed of it. This was a result of my adopted attitude which I had not considered and I will commit to doing better going forward.

However, at this point, my decision stands and Round 3 will continue with 28 players in 4 games. To protect the anonymity of games, I will work privately with CapturingBravo to resolve this and may not announce the resolution until after the relevant games are completed.

An update on a few issues:

1) All 4 games have now been set up and invitations sent out to the 28 players of round 3. Everyone has 1 week to join before I dip into the reserves list.

2) CapturingBravo has been included in 1 of the 4 games as foodcoat agreed to move to the reserves list.

3) The rodents are Alpine Marmots.

Time for another update.
Games 1 and 2 have started.
game 3 has all players signed up. They now just need to hit the "confirm" button and the game should start.
game 4 has all players signed up. They now just need to hit the "confirm" button and the game should start.

Note: Governor failed to join in time and a replacement has taken their place in Round 3.

I will wait until the last two games are active before I set up the first 3 games of Round 4.

The 28 players registered for round 4 have been seeded, split into 7 pots and allocated to 4 games. Head to head match ups which have occurred twice before have been avoided and everyone should have a new power which they haven't played before in this tournament.

As with round 3 I have set up the first 3 games of the round and will set up the fourth as soon as one gane goes active. Once again I've allowed 1 week for players to join their games before I call for replacements.
