I was in the wilderness but would love to sub for this - is there a way to sneak in as a reserve/sub?

I played in the Play Diplomacy Elite Series a few years back.

I still have not received any notices about Round 2. On the other hand, my RL is a mess at the moment and I am underserving my role in Round 1. I see that there are some players volunteering to join as substitutes so I hope that one of them can be chosen to play instead. I hope things will be more manageable for me by the time R0und 3 comes around.
