I'll start collecting Round 3 confirmations in 2 weeks time, on the 15th/16th. Games will be set up and sent out 1-2 weeks after that, depending on confirmation speed.
I'm strongly considering ditching the seeding method Malarky had originally defined, as it requires all games in the previous round to be complete prior to the next round being set up, which will make the tournament take forever. Does anyone have any strong views on that?
At this point I think anything that nudges the tourney along is welcome. The slow pace is dissipating its identity.
Nudging the tourney along is something I had the impression would be welcomed by a non-negligible subset of players. Shortening turns might be something to look at here, like, how about we do two day-turns instead of three, as of the next round?
