I suspect the difficulty in finding a TD back-up is that all the PlayDip luminaries are playing in the tournament.

That's indeed worrisome. Malarky was also in a PDL game (201866) from which he dropped out due to consecutive NMRs on May 3rd. It indeed makes me think that something may have happened to him.

Agree with Conq that we may need someone else to step in and keep things running, otherwise the ODC will collapse. Sadly I cannot volunteer as I'm the edge of taking a break as it stands.

yeah if we could get a volunteer that would be great as I need some help with a Rd 1 game and I think Rd2 should be coming up soon...

I am going to begin asking around for a temporary replacement. It would be great to find someone willing who has served as TD for a large tournament before.

If anyone has any news of Malarky they can share, I'm sure the community would like to know. The main concern here is that he's okay.

I've been attempting to contact him, but from what I can tell his Diplomacy alias is completely anonymous and he never linked it to real life anywhere. Really hope he's doing okay.
