Superpastis20 GOLDMEDAL FINALISTS Invitations

Postby dib » 13 Sep 2020, 10:24

As you may know we are trying to maintain anonymity as far as possible. But this requires participants to pause their games again. Please suggest another 14 day pause in your game.

Final standings have been calculated and invites are going out one by one.

This year the top ranked player gets 1st country choice.and so on...

The 1st ranked player has received their invitation.

S/he has 48 hours to rjoin before I send out the 2nd invite.they can in theory still join but may have to accept 2nd choice AND so on.. I will send out next invite asap either 48 hours or after 1st player has joined so hopefully we can get things started this week

If you receive an invite and have joined game please pm me to let me know as Cal is on holiday.

Will there be a Tin Medal match set up too? Or does that have to wait to see if top 7 all accept their positions?

Wow, that is surprising given how many times England was wiped out before matches concluded in the early rounds. Somebody is a glutton for punishment.

I'm surprised no-one went for Austria. They got eliminated frequently in the 7 year games as people look for quick wins but fared better than most in the 9 year games where people had to focus more long term.

Thats interesting observation. Having fixed years ends does seem to affect things.

Update: The third placed candidate hasnt opened the invitation so the 4th placed candidate invite has gone out.

Yes interesting last year MrAedron did very well as England

Its interesting how the tournament play affects things. I noticed there were more WT last year which tends to favour England. As an ET tends to favour Turkey.
