I'll have to go "negative" on playing. My Diplomacy is suffering from overload as it is. Catch me on round 2, though!

No I hadn't! It's very interesting, and it's nice to know that someone already came up with a similar idea (i.e. it works).

I love the first sentence...

0. Regular Diplomacy rules apply except when they don't.

Funny to me.

It'd be the 1900 Diplomacy Map. I'm going to see if I can find a good copy but for now you can check the one here on the forum.

Hey everyone! I've made a beautiful map while I should have been doing health-class today. I'll post it when I get to a computer with paint.net (tomorrow). You'll love it I'm sure!

Sounds awesome!
Do you hear the people sing,
Lost in the valley of the night,
It is the music of a people,
Who are climbing to the light,

For the wretched of the earth,
There is a flame that never dies,
Even the darkest night must end,
And the sun will rise

For starting or playing?

I'm imagining a 3 day turn cycle with two days for builds and retreats.
We'd start play the moment we have 7 people confirmed and I'll look for backups for a little while after that.

I can change any of this if it suits your folk's preferences.

Oh, and sorry about the map, it'll be up tomorrow.
