This variant was the winner in the April 2019 election for a new PlayDiplomacy map. It is now approved for site inclusion, and this thread will be moved to the new Workshop: War in the Americas subforum.

In that subforum, we will discuss the further tweaks and specifics necessary for adapting War in the Americas to our site.

Progress Report
Lots of behind-the-scenes grunt work has been completed. Clickable polygons have been drawn. Unit locations have been planned out. Each and every land territory on the map has been exported to 13 different colors (ten base players, neutral, fog, & one extra player for Escalation), for a grand total of 1508 land territory images!

Hey I have a border question... can an army cross one of the rivers? for example could an army move Tennessee - New Olreans?

Thanks
Salem

Yep! Rivers do not impede army movement
