I'm curious how much interest there may be in an app based version of Diplomacy to optimize it for mobile devices. If there is enough interest to form a beta group I'm toying with making it myself.

Maybe that's why I haven't seen them. I'm on an iPhone. I just get a little frustrated sometimes when trying to play on my phone as it is definitely not optimized for that experience.

my opinion is that a mobile application must be because it is:
modern
will attract more users
additional advertising
will help to play anywhere in the world (if, of course, there is a mood and appropriate mood)
of course, I am ready to be in the beta group
it's a really good idea, but it seems to me that someone should have come up with this already
Look on the forum, maybe there were unsuccessful attempts not to make such mistakes?
