Fall 303 AC orders are due August 8 at 9pm Eastern Standard Time!
Note: a modification to the auto-retreat can be sent before 9pm on August 6, resulting in an extended deadline.

A Spider's Notes: 303/S,

I have secured the casks of wildfire back in their storage tanks. I got word just in time from the Onion Knight. Whether the new mad king truly desires to burn Westeros or not, I am disinclined to give him the opportunity. The twisted tyrant Stannis has thrown aside the old alliances. His fleets have seized the initiative in Essos and the Dragonqueen's eastern holdings look ripe to fall. Apparently, the stag has a forked tongue and the invasion of the North was a ruse. Even as Stannis' soldiers support the queen to seize the Twins from the Lannisters, his troops fortify at Harrenhall, dragging her banner through the mud.

Though, the situation looks dire for Queen Daenerys, at least she has her Khalasar to fall back on. The poor Tyrells have nothing so glorious in their future. With the stroke of a pen & the wings of a raven, King Stannis sent his soldiers to seize Highgarden. I have a credible report that the Tyrell garrison even invited the Baratheon army in for supper, before having their throats slit and their home barricaded against their would-be-rescuers. Indeed, with the Tyrell heir secreted away in Storm's End, King Stannis truly has his former ally in a brutal spot. Should the king be able to hold Highgarden, giving himself enough time to try and execute the elder Tyrells for "treason", he could conceivably order the death of his daughter in law Margaery as well. Westeros rebelled when the Mad King Aerys attempted to obliterate House Stark. Can it unite again to seek justice (or vengeance?) for the Tyrells? With the war in the north and the Lannisters pushed back nearly into the sea... I'm not confident. Though I'll be loathe to serve a second Mad King, I am prepared to do so should he require my services.

All who walk the halls of power walk the spider's web.

Iskis the Spider

Dear Iskis,
I need your advice. I'm writing this letter in a hurry but maybe you will manage to make sense out of it.

Lord Stannis has changed since he met a red woman two months ago. He claims he had some sort of a vision. He keeps mentioning an army of the Dead, the prophecy, something about a flaming sword, all sorts of things.

Earlier today I heard lord Stannis mumble: "unite Westeros" and then "burn them all"

He instructed our troops with the following orders:

A Riverlands support Kingsroad to the Twins... supported unit succeeded
A Riverrun MOVE Harrenhall... succeeded
A Westerlands MOVE Lannisport... bounced
F Castelry Rock support Westerlands MOVE Lannisport... support cut
A Stormlands MOVE Highgarden... succeeded
A King's Landing MOVE Duskendale... bounced
A Stoney Sept MOVE The Reach... succeeded
F Sunspear MOVE Sea of Dorne... succeeded
F Stepstones MOVE Southern Narrow Sea... succeeded
F Eastern Summer Sea MOVE Disputed Lands... succeeded

Is he is losing his mind and what am I supposed to do?

"I don't have it in me to stab a 13 year old, really I don't. I just can't do it. Please Khaleesi, can we work to a three way draw. I'd really apprecaite it. Let's just keep it low key."
Stannis Baratheon

"Sure thing Stannis. That's fine"
Khaleesi

Appeal to the mother in me. Then BOOOOOOOM

We'll not be eating at the Gruesome Diner again.

The Dragons ate the wrong guy.

Good job Baratheon, you fooled me and then fooled them.

I am glad everyone is aware of the tactics Grooface Baratheon employs.

What's the Dragon diet?
I'm actually curious on what they eat because of their flames.

As another recent member of the army of the Dead, all must beware any meals taken with Groo Barratheon. His desire to rule burns hotter than any dragon’s flame. it makes roses wither, lions whimper and even made our Sand Snakes recoil....

Hi StarkAdder!

Oh great, thanks for the info!

I plan on rewarding you with e-food, but first, what do you eat back there in the army of the Dead?

You were actually the first to mention how you could never stab a kid so you gave me something to work with. I am not going to be brought down for trying a double stab in a game whose official subtitle says: "Luck plays no part in Diplomacy. Cunning and cleverness honesty and perfectly-timed betrayal are the tools needed to outwit your fellow players. The most skillful negotiator will climb to victory over the backs of both enemies and friends. Who do you trust?"
On the contrary, by all standards of this game this was a good play. You only feel angry because I tricked YOU and because I used a lie you consider below the belt. You took it too personal dear!

AKFD has taken this as he should have - a game. It was a great game and I had a lot of fun playing with all of you, especially both of my (now ex) allies. Unfortunately for you guys, you really gave me a room to stab you multiple times and I simply couldn't restrain myself anymore. I was trying to be a good ally, but give me a clear shot to a solo and I will try to use it.

I respect you AK, you might be young now, but you'll become one hell of a player one day. We might even play a couple of games of chess if you're up to it (sorry for not answering that in a PM before, had no time). I don't know if I have any active accounts for playing online, have to look for passwords and stuff on my old broken PC and that might take a while so I don't mind creating a new one wherever you want to.

Heh, glad you had your laugh, but the truth is I was sincere then - when I contacted you that time time I really wanted to work with you but then they did their persuasive magic on me and you stopped talking so I went with them instead. Sorry mate, you played extremely well given the circumstances (your starting position)!

By the way, the fact that I didn't go easy on you proves that I really have high hopes for you. Can't wait for a day you kick my ass in diplomacy.
