No, sadly I just checked it & it never got done. I wish I was able to edit the document because it would take no time to get it up to date, but for techy reasons I can’t get edit to work on my ancient devices. Wrong IOS or something.
I’ll update my “pen & paper” version after July games, so folks know where they stand going into September final round.

Since this message, Pete the Great has done a great job updating our spreadsheet. There’s still some personnel changes to include since we started in January, but other than that it’s now current,

One formula is giving me problems. I can correctly rank Don Juan and Taras, but I can not get them to sort. Hence they are listed at the bottom, but with a correct rank #. Latnast1 and Wargamer remain in the table as this was part of the work around with 2 replacements in one month getting an averaged score. If anyone spots a major error, reply here and I will see what I can do to address it.

The only error I see is you're still in New York.

Yep, upstate is pretty boring, an occassional blizzard. Earthquakes, tornadoes and rattlesnakes are rare. No hurricanes, tsunamis or forest fires. Temperatures seldom break 90 but it does get humid in the summer. Usually a cold snap of below 0 weather in the winter. Otherwise life is good.

Folks,

The game invitations for last round of PDL 2022, September games are sent. Target start date is September 6th. I hope you enjoy the games.
I’ll be visiting family in South West USA at the end of 2022, so unable to administer the start of PDL 2023 next January (assuming it happens). Opportunity for a new administrator to put their mark on this excellent annual contest.

Update;
All 3 September games are started. I hope you enjoy the games & PDL next year, if it happens. There’s a good chance I won’t be on PlayDip much when these last games reach conclusion, because I’ll be on vacation in USA motorcycle touring, or other such fun (BMW, NOT Harley, by the way). Congratulations to the PDL 2022 winner in advance, it’s been a splendid contest & everything still to stab for.

Folks,

That’s me done for PDL2022 administration. All games safely underway, without S01 NMR’s so no need for further seeking of players. I’ll probably not be online much when the September games finish, so won’t be around to congratulate the winner.
Pete the Great has the spreadsheet table under control & I’m sure someone can initiate AAR’s, if folks wish to comment on events. Good luck to all & I hope you enjoy the contests. See you next year.

Many thanks Custer. I’m reliving a dream I had about 40 years ago. Younger, footloose & fancy free with a BMW in Africa. I rode there 7 years before normal life caught up with me & consigned long distance motorcycling to memory lane. I plan to live it again while I still can, but this time in USA.
In November, only CA, AZ & possibly NM, because it’s winter & I need to make preparations. If I can make summer trips as well then everywhere becomes possible. In Africa we’d ride 500 miles a day without hesitation & the BMW I just got is way better than the beast I rode back then (although obviously I’m much older).
I’m learning all the maintenance protocols online & will be accumulating spares, specialist tools etc while in AZ this December. You never know where drama can strike & have to be prepared. USA has the same big remote areas as Africa, where self sufficiency is a benefit.
I spent 12+ years in USA, but saw nothing. Orange County in SoCal was all I learned, apart from a few long weekend trips in nearby states. This time I want to “see America”.
Orange County is representative of only a poor quality reality show, not the real thing.
I will meet Americans in all the rural areas I’ve never yet seen & looking forward to every moment. At least one of my 3 boys is now planning to get a suitable motorcycle & ride with me next year. I couldn’t wish for more. I’ve loved adventures from when I was a teenager & happy another one is possible. Thanks for the welcome.

Sounds like a life well lived. More power to ya! I'd love to meet up with you somewhere. Maybe Texas in April? Colorado perhaps? In December we'll be in South Carolina.

I think if its a fairly new bike you won't have any problems. A good cell phone, a pocket full of cash, and Road side assistance is all you need.....LoL

Riding with your son will be awesome! I wish I could do that. You weren't born and raised in the states? For some reason I thought you were.
