Looks like the D1 February game featured a sudden (and seemingly unexplained?) surrender, with someone swooping in to take up the position. Do the league admins know about this? In the past I have seen Woolgie post about every surrender and takeover.

The_Discourses has surrendered from a game and is evicted from the league.

A non-PDL player has been able to join the game as a replacement and I am talking to the affected players. More details to follow.

The player that joined has surrendered and therefore The_Discourses has now been replaced by mjparrett.

The replacement would have been EricNoland but they did not respond in time. They will still be considered for future replacements.

During my last game with mjparrett, he had said he was taking a break from Diplomacy after the game ended. That was almost a year ago. I'm very glad to see he's back. Welcome back, mj!

Another one bites the dust

And another one gone & another one gone,
165174 PDL D1 Feb has a higher casualty rate than most. The Turk has bailed

PDL D1 Feb was drawn as part of the PDL some weeks ago so it’s out of my hands now.

Sounds good. Nice work as usual. PDL going smooth in 2020 irrespective of quitters.

That was very odd that he missed two turns, Durkeety is a consistent player! Hopefully all is well with him.
