I'm disappointed.

Anything you want to talk about.

I'm disappointed.

Back in my day we spammed this forum to pieces with our nonsense.

I don't see enough nonsense.

:x

(That's my angry face.)

Anyway, it's my once-every-year-or-two pop-in to see how few people I remember. Does anyone have any nonsense to say?

Balderdash!

How can one ever truly master the enigmatic radish?

And hello again.
You don't know what I'm thinking...because I don't know what I'm doing.

Hey MR,

Yeah I just came back after a 4.5 year absence and the forum is rather quiet.

I think a lot of the nonsense has shifted to the various Discord servers. That format is just a little easier to spew & pontificate in (though maybe too easy).

Yeh Discord pfft. Let's move Forum games onto Discord. Perfectly good forum here for that. Oh well.

Playing much Dip these days, MR?

And hello again.

One does not master the radish. One simply is master of them. It has taken me many years of dedication. I also have decent mastery over other assorted root vegetables.

Hello again to you too. ;)

Isn't all existence? That's what makes existence so fun!

Hey Martz! Yeah, it's a lot different from the old days. The Diplomacy aspect has grown; the social presence has not. Either that, or it's simply much too sophisticated for the likes of us. ;)

But forum spam lives forever! I've just spent far too many minutes trawling the back pages of this forum, glancing over the days of yore when the likes of me, Diplomat, bitwise, Spitfire, and NatRiv posted nonstop for hours at a time. Ah, to be young again.

Haven't played Dip in about four years, maybe more. I fell out of it as I adjusted to a busier adult life post-university - I couldn't commit as much time to serious games as I used to, and struggled to realise that for awhile. I have a few shameful NMRs, nearly all from that time. I could probably fit it back into my life now, but I'm so long out of practice that it seems a bit daunting to get back into it. It's much easier to hold on to a nostalgic image of myself from the site's early days.

Yeah - miss the old days when you and Diplomat and Natriv all posted hourly and Craw would come in with some amazing photoshop silliness. The diplomacy aspect has massively improved, but this forum is not nearly as entertaining as it once was. Miss you and Craw and Detroit Red the most.

Hey MR,

Seems like our random log on times happened to coincide. Hope things are going well for you and all the other denizens of Playdip. :)

Cheers,
