Always has been dumb

Anything you want to talk about.

Always has been dumb

So, I was born into the most privileged, richest family in the UK. I was adored by everyone even though I did precious little, other than usual adolescent/young adult mischief. I wanted for nothing & didn’t have to earn a thing.
I do have an ego problem, but given the above I could be forgiven for such a small deficiency.

So in order to find happiness I go in search of an American divorcee. I know, I know, there’s at least 100 million guys I could have talked to about that first but hey. My brother did mention what Mum had said about marrying quickly, but who cares what older & wiser folks say. I know what I’m doing, don’t need advice & anyway the divorcee makes sure I don’t stray too far from the plot. Some people have mentioned a family history of that type of screw up, but they’re just being mean.

I’m off to Canada. Yeah I know, the climate... Yes, I know there are warmer places... But at least Canada has friendly people, great security (hope it’s inexpensive) a self-confessed feminist for a President (Wifey likes that bit) & if my heroic efforts to prevent global warming fail, then Canada could do with a bit of warming up anyway. I’m told that if we lose the English pad (pity really we just spent a fortune fixing up the old place) that there are anonymous rich dudes here that will lend us a place to stay too. Now that’s what I call a welcome, more stuff for free.

So, see you guys & girls. I did enjoy the whole Prince thing & HRH was far better than just Mister. Might miss that bit.
Gonna get rich quick here too though. I’m told the suckers in North America will pay just about anything for something branded with the words Sussex. TV personalities, ex-US Presidents are all telling me to go for the dough. Who could argue with that? Especially not an over privileged English twit like me,

Harry

Thankfully, the Windsors still have the Queen's favorite son: Prince Andrew. Oh wait ...

Hi Harry,

Didn't you do two tours in Afghanistan? Deserves some recognition right.

Realised it was Dailymail and quickly closed it. Horrible journalism.

Personally I am loving the implosion of the Royal Family. Hopefully this will lead to the dissolution of the Monarchy and we can develop into a proper democracy. Viva la republic!

P.s. The press are abominable. Prince Andrews is an actual paedophile. Meh, who cares. Harry wants to leave the firm. WALL TO WALL COVERAGE. BETRAYAL. SHOCK. HORROR. HOW DARE HE.

For me, the reaction is completely backwards.

I didn't finish reading the OP. Did it mention the bit where his mum died tragically when he was a kid and the effect that undoubtedly had on his mental health? Or does the fact he's privileged mean that sort of thing doesn't count?

If he wants to live a less media-intensive life with his new wife, all the power to him.
