Play Diplomacy Online

I came across this very recently and thought it might be useful for some of us. Apologies if it has been posted elsewhere.

If it had been posted elsewhere, and not here, I, as a new player, would probably not have stumbled on it. Thank you for posting, and please forgive my excessive comma usage.

WOW!! Talk about silly luck! I played one game and got a 5 player draw as Germany. I just joined two more new games and again ended up as Germany TWICE! Germany is not so bad and I will of course play both games. The same perspective gets monotonous though. Is there any way when I join a new game can I say I want to play anything BUT Germany? My other preferences I list seem to be ignored anyway.

Thoughts? Comments?
