Sorry guys, but lordelindel isn't a recognised GM here, although he has, as he says, a long track record from a while ago. But for now he won't be able to run this game himself.

How long would the deadlines be? I would be interested in signing up as a wazir, though would probably need at least 3/2/2 or similar due to RL commitments. Also, can the Wazir influence any movements in build and retreat phases? And, is the wazir wealth and alignment public announcement (ie announced by the GM), or only subject to what people tell others?

If I am able to join I would also want at least 3/2/2 deadline schedule.

I've appealed to Pedros for a change of mind. In the meantime I still plan to collect interest and we'll see where we can go!

I was planning on 4/2/2, though I was going to leave that up to player preference and it sounds like 4/2/2 would work for everyone who has posted a preference.
To answer your rules question: the Wazir cannot influence any movements during the build and retreat phases. The Wazirs (and the Princes') wealth is a matter of public record as is the affiliation of Wazirs with particular Princes. I will publish the 'hiring' orders for all to see (that includes attempts to hire a Wazir away from a Prince that fail- due to the Wazir choosing a different Prince or to remain at court).

BTW, while Ill play either prince or wazir...I want to have the CHANCE of playing either...I don't really want to play as much if all 3 Wazir's have already been claimed. I think that we should either do an auction bid for it (blind is obviously already out since some people have stated preferences) or it should be random.

Im just not a big fan of being limited because of others.

That's reasonable. Once I hear back from Pedros what's up with my GMing I'll think up a solution; perhaps one-eyed bidding? ;)

Hey guys! So after discussion with Pedros I'm not going to be able to GM this right now. I'll need to play through one other forum game and then I'll have my "wings". So, sorry to make you all wait but I'll let each of you who has showed interest know (probably via PM) when signups go live again.

Additionally, if any current GMs are reading this, you are more than welcome to pick up and GM (I'm happy to share my files, notes, etc.). The game is in GIMP (if that makes a difference to you).

I think that another GM will be able to pick up the map etc for different software if you can mail it to him layer by layer lordelindel.
