I would love to play this exciting game. Please let me know when the opportunity is available!

It will be a little bit before I am wing-ed anyway. So we'll have to see who is still available when that roles around. I'll PM everyone again and perhaps delete this/make a new post when the time has come. If it's long enough of a lapse it might even be worthwhile to switch to a blind auction (having deleted this thread already, of course).

Blind still wouldn't work...BUT, an auction clearly would.

Yes, I agree with asu - you couldn't do Blind; too many players have expressed definite preferences. But you could still run an auction under the same rules, but not Blind

I don't quite understand Wazirs. Is there any other way to pay Wazirs other than holding units? Also, is there a set amount of dinars that I have in my treasury? If so, how many?

You only pay Wazirs by holding units...and you have no gold in your treasury (unless you arrest a Wazir in which case you have 1/2 of what they had which goes to the next Wazir you hire.)
