The new, reorganized, army is training vigorously for the first year after their creation. Many Dark Elves applied to be Shadowguards, but only a few were chosen. As the military is increased in size, some funds are being temporarily shifted away from public works to fund the new, larger military. More funds are being taken from the yearly sum usually relegated to the treasury. The buildup of GPs over the last few years are being used to pay for the new equipment (I forgot to pay myself for several years now, so I'll just call it even). The new rigorous training routine is helping to further prepare our soldiers for any potential combat in the future.

Additionally, a new (very secret and HFPE) division off the government has been created: we will be developing a highly-trained army of spies to feed us information. They will be known as Wraithwalkers. Most will be Dark Elves, but some Humans will join their ranks. Few Dwarves will likely see the glamor in the profession. In total, we will have 2,000 new spies. They are rotten assassins, but very good and highly trained at gathering information and covertly sharing it. They will also be able to plant information and forge documents. The training should last until the end of this year as well. The rest of their training will be on the job experience.

10 Rings of Power are forged: 9 for the Shadowbretheren, and 1 for their king.

High Dhalro Projects:
Organizing the Grand Army: Centralizing control over the pastoral Owl Men tribes outside the Silent Cities and establishing an elite army of warrior-mages. At roughly 5,000 men, this Grand Army will be the new standard military, boasting exceptional skill in sand manipulation (for wide-ranging attacks), archery (aided by wind magic), and spear combat (tipped with poisons). And of course all the fast-moving troops will be effective sealers able to summon magical forces and the like. The focus of their training is firepower and long range engagements while still possessing the skill to win in close confrontations. As a force composed entirely of Owl Men, the Grand Army will specialize in nocturnal warfare, using large ambushes to either wipe out sparse desert settlements or throw off opposing armies. They will be aided by 2,000 Redwatchers, flying archers whose arrowheads are tipped with Nyako's Seals to create small magic explosions. They also are powerful mages who have mastered the winds of the Southern Wastes and can wreak havoc from the safety of the sky. Another 1,000 warriors will be organized into the mounted divisions composed of camel riding archers.

The White Wall of Losira: A vast network of walls is being constructed around each of the Silent Cities, at least 15 feet high in most places. The walls will be connected and run most of the distance of Lake Losira, with the exception of the river. The White Wall (named because of the immaculate sandstone it's constructed of) will be manned by the Grand Army at most times unless they go out raiding/conquering, in which case it's up to the city guard and rural tribes to manage it.

Expanded Agricultural Production: In order to realize his dream of an empire, the Skylord needs more Owl Men to rule over. So the nation is going to invest heavily in increasing crop yields at the shores of the lake and in the nearby oases. Hopefully this will allow Dhalro to experience a slight bump in its pop growth, especially given it's low starting population.

More Dhalro Projects
- Continuing Agricultural Production: The nation is going to invest heavily in increasing crop yields at the shores of the lake and in the nearby oases. Hopefully this will allow Dhalro to experience a slight bump in its pop growth, especially given it's low starting population.

- Expanding the White Wall: The White Wall of Losira will get enhancements to get the average size of the wall from 15 to 20 feet.

- New Roads: To integrate the new southern territories, the Aerie orders that new roads be established to connect it to the Silent Cities.

The Three Kingdoms now claim all the non-mountainous terrain in the eastern portion of the continent in addition to its current holdings, with the exception of our Sevonian Allies and Animalia. (Honestly, I don't really remember who find Smihurstina, but no military campaigns there either for the time being).

Most importantly, the military is immediately being dispatched to subdue any opposition there may be, except in The Society, which we officially declare a client state of the Empire. Of course, having no government, they don't actually recognize this claim, but meh. It's what we claim anyway.

Also, some colonization efforts are being undertaken in order to expand the Empire's agriculture and fully integrate our newly claimed territory.
