Where do you mean? The northeast seems pretty populated at this point. I dunno if you're keeping up with the game threads, but the lands around Khajjar (in blue, center-top) are established to be soooomewhat swarming with Orcs at the moment.

So, in interpreting our own little creations here, and in reading other people's interpretations, it's fairly clear there are some major discrepancies about what our world looks like even beyond our own borders. Thought we might want to clear some things up? Like:

Is our continent north or south of the equator of our world?

How high/impassable are our various mountain ranges?

Are the pale areas deserts or plains?

Other issues?

My understanding is:

1. North

2. High and tricky but not totally impassable

3. Deserts

But I dunno I could be way off.

I had definitely imagined our northern coast to be our hotter coast, but I couldn't tell you why.

By the way, is Pais del Noreste still active?

Just curious.

^That. Na'athar is meant to have a fairly warm climate. Or the Lowlands are anyway, the mountains are obvs mountains and are thus cooler.

Apparently so ;)

I will note on the deserts vs plains, I don't think it's game breaking to have the player there decide for one vs the other. When I took the base map they were more of a desert appearance, but if you'd rather switch yours to a plain I don't see anything wrong with that.

In other news, and I apologise for only sending this message through mat but just for the sake of clarity, 2 years is the default research time. This means it should take 8 IRL days for a project to be completed. Sorry for the slight lack of clarity surrounding this, wasn't sure on time limits initially and then faffed around for a bit when I was busy IRL. But yes that is my final judgement on that matter. I'll be updating the various threads over the next couple of days to make sure that everything gets organised effectively.
