I know the American roster is at capacity, but I'll add my name to the list in case of extenuating circumstances...

Bit of an explosion over-night!

Thanks to everyone who joined up.

This does mean some changes to the team structure.

We have a new team, Ireland, which at four players is viable. This takes us to 8 teams, provisionally. This also has meant that Europa is now not full (at 6) although it could be filled. USA is now over capacity at 8 so may be split or players could move from that team to represent others... someone from USA could be placed in Europa or Canada to fill them, for instance.

So there has been some fluidity, which means that the provisional teams are still very provisional :) And, of course, if not everyone confirms... :(

Some teams have already been discussing captaincy. Of those teams, only England is pretty stable, with England's players not able to represent other teams. However, bear in mind that England may yet be split! That is also true of other teams, so whilst discussing captaincy isn't a problem, remember that I won't confirm the teams until Tuesday.

One other thing: my philosophy is that I am aiming for full teams, 7 players, before setting-up split teams (eg a USA East and USA West; a USA team and a Texas team - we now have 3 Texans registered! :) ) so I would rather keep teams as single units than have two representing one country/region. However, I will also look at what's best for the Tournament altogether.

Rick - perhaps you want to advertise again? Lots of people signed up when you did that a few days ago. The more the merrier I say! :)

Yep one more push today. Teams will be set today, although I am concerned that some haven't confirmed. I will try to reach those people today and tomorrow.
