What do I win? A night out with gnaah? $100? 3 internets? :D
Technically though, Charlie COULD win if he is stuck in as a mid-game replacement, should we need one (hopefully not).

If you wanna get technical, I think Charlie's already won twice-over, first by virtue of being Charlie, and second by not having a game going through the holidays. So I guess you're actually our first lost bet

Which takes us back to...

The odds for that are that I'm going to be enjoying a pizza Napoli :D

The tournament by numbers...

Over the 30 games of the tournament, admittedly a small sample, there seems to have been a fair amount of balance by country. Of the 10 solos, Britain, Germany and Poland had 1 each, France and Italy had 2 each and Russia 3. Only Turkey failed to solo. Turkey was the leading country for 3-way draws however. Looking at Solos plus 3-way draws (over half the outcomes), all countries had between 5 and 8.

All told, all countries figured in between 23% - 40% of the winning outcomes (solos plus draws across 30 games).

Here's the breakdown for the tournament so far:

......................Solos......2-Way.......3-Way.......4-Way......5-Way.......Total
Games
Total...............10(33%)...4 (13%).....12 (40%).....3 (10%).....1 (3%).....30 (100%)

Winning Outcomes
......................Solos......2-Way.......3-Way.......4-Way......5-Way.......Total
Britain..............1 (3%).....1 (3%).......6 (20%)......2 (7%)......1 (3%)......11 (37%)
France..............2 (7%).....1 (3%).......4 (13%)......0 (0%)......0 (0%).......7 (23%)
Germany...........1 (3%).....1 (3%).......6 (20%)......2 (7%)......1 (3%)......11 (37%)
Italy.................2 (7%).....1 (3%).......6 (20%)......2 (7%)......1 (3%)......12 (40%)
Poland..............1 (3%).....3 (10%)......5 (17%)......2 (7%)......1 (3%)......12 (40%)
USSR................3 (10%)....1 (3%).......2 (7%)........2 (7%)......1 (3%).......9 (30%)
Turkey..............0 (0%).....0 (0%).......7 (23%).......2 (7%)......0 (0%).......9 (30%)

Nanook, I think you'd better put Salty on staff and give him a share of the salary you collect for this. :D

Of course, I wish I could put Salty on MY staff.....but we put our dreams away. :)

I'm sure I have a contract around here somewhere...

He'd be a welcome addition to my current staff of me and the voices in my head ;)

Salty that is just fantastic. Great work!

Happy to see our mess of a round two game was the only five way draw in the tournament. :)
