Leave 1st turn NMR protection turned off! If someone NMRs first round too bad for them. No delays in game starts, please.

Turn DIAS on.

Both DIAS and game starts ready-or-not are consistent with the rules as written for Diplomacy.

I'm not an advocate of DIAS, but totally agree with turning the 1st turn NMR off... this is a competitive tourney.

My $0.02 agrees that first turn NMR resets shouldn't be in play. I do, however, like DIAS- as surviving is often all I'm capable of :lol:

But yeah, looking forward to it very much! Hopefully I'll manage to take a few scalps.
