Negative. Here's a quote from the thread describing the Ambassador criteria:

In order to determine if a Diplomat should become an Ambassador, at the end of each game player records are checked to see if any Diplomats have attained Ambassador status.
• Your last three finished games you played from the start are examined, together with any other intervening activity such as other active games or surrendered pickups
• If you had NO SURRENDERS and no more than 3% NMR rate (excluding Builds), you become an Ambassador

So, only games you played from the start count towards the minimum of 3 games to qualify as an Ambassador. Intervening games do count towards the other criteria (no DQs and a 97% consistency rating).

Are you mostly wanting to be an Ambassador so you can join Ambassador only games? Looking to get into good games?

I believe you could probably get into the classicists if you have at least one finished game and have not surrendered or NMRd (well maybe once or twice for NMRs). Could probably get into a decent game that way. Added benefit would be that there will likely be lots of messaging in a classicist game, which should make it easier to rack up messages to become a star ambassador if that's important to you.

I can't look at your stats since I'm not premium at the moment, but maybe you should look into the classicists to get in a good game or two if you are qualified to get in.

I thank you for everyone in your game as well as the site for taking up a surrendered position and taking it seriously and seeing it through. That can really save the balance of a game. If you're the kind of person to do that, you should fit right in with the classicists and I'm sure you'll be an ambassador soon.
