Does surrendering count against you if you have no units? In other words do I have to passively observe the game until the end?
It is a pick up game that I played so that the game was more balanced after a surrender.

Not as long as you have zero SC's as well. In the status bar there should be a tab "ignore" game. It then disappears from your active games.
I just checked your game & it still in retreat from your last SC. After the build phase the ignore game option will appear as you will then be at zero SC's.

Great thanks. I have set the retreat to destroy since I would only have to take if off in the Build phase anyway.
Was not aware of the Ignore button. I will use that. Thanks.

Just do it after winter when you are officially eliminated...it replaces the surrender button...so if you still see surrender...you have something there and it will hurt you.
