Ambassador Class

I believe I should be an ambassador now. I have waited to join new games so that I have access to ambassador only games and just completed my third rank/norank game that I participated in from the start with no NMR or surrender (I also am involved currently in a rank game that I joined after someone else dropped out). It's possible that in one of my completed games I took over for a first turn NMR and that is why the system didn't credit me. Can an admin look into that for me?

You are correct that one of your three completed games you joined in the first turn after someone else surrendered. The system looks for ones you were in since sign-up. Dipsy is the authority here, but I think you'll have to finish one more that you started from the very very beginning. I know it seems like a small difference, but computers....

You are correct, the game you took over after a Spring 1901 surrender is not counted as a full game. This has come up before; it is a rather sad quirk of the way the system is implemented. Since the game actually reset, you have of course played it from the start, but the system does not think that because someone else started out playing your country. Bummer. I'll tell you what, I am happy to zap your Ambassador flag on; can't promise it will set your forum status to Ambassador, and you wont get the nice congratulatory email, but at least you will then be able to join Ambassador games.

Getting access to ambassador games is definitely the priority. I appreciate it very much.
