Bringing your major and minor together

Postby mrlazy1997 » 12 Mar 2014, 17:05

For almost any major/minor pair, it seems that a common strategy would be to have the two powers fight towards each other and join up, to create a safe border between the two.

Does this make sense, or does this make it too clear who your major/minor are?

The question is, if you are on one side of the map, what is going on on the other, and if you are consolidated does it mean the rest did too? if so, then what have you gained except a regular diplomacy with bigger map. To me, people lose sight of what Diplomacy really mean or how to really divide and conquer...

Just a thought

In one of my games, I'm Turkey with Greece as a minor. Both have been successful, but now are intertwined. It becomes a headache when you need to protect an SC but do it with the other power...and risk having the first power lose an SC and therefore must destroy a unit. Sure, you get the build back with the other power...but it'll in the back and out of position.

You shouldn't be discussing an active game, spudboy.
