Should
Heptarchy ever make it to the main site, we will need to figure out another go-to for aspiring GMs. It's one of the most straightforward forum variants to fill and run.
I have a feeling that could be:
1. Ad Arma- probably one of the most simple variants I have ever seen. 7 players, and the map is small.
2. Baltic- another small and simple map with 4 players.
3. Canton- Assuming that this does not make it to the main site, this is actually a very good starting map. The map might be big, but the rules are simple.
4. Diplpmacy of Ice and Fire- I don't see this game of Thrones-themed variant being a standard variant, because of the heir rules. (which can get
really complicated) But it has been played 6 times and a 7th run is about to begin.
Plus, it's my favorite variant! Lol no, we don't determine what variants become standard by favoritism. 5. Africa- this 6-player variant needs to get popular. It's simple, straightforward, and the maps are easy to comprehend.
6. Sail Ho!- should we resurrect this variant? This is a cool one, as I saw in the archives.
Those are my suggestions.
