Gotcha down as a reserve. Who knows you may end up saving the day in this one too.

OK, absent an alternative option, I've posted asking for a temporary sub for while I'm away 25th-1st (thought I'd better get it up now as the site's going to be down a bit this week). Having just done that, though, I see we have a reserve down for this game. Should he have first option? To clarify, I do intend to take the position back when I return.

If you're taking your position back, then I think it's fair to ask for a sub rather than turning it over to a reserve.

I now have a sub (attitudes) ready to take over. I will be playing the coming Spring turn myself and, depending on the next deadline, will probably have him take over for the Fall. Will confirm nearer the time.

Right, as of now, I'm stepping back from this game. Regard attitudes as the official representative of Mexico until I return in a week and post here again.

I'm back, and am taking over Mexico again. Thanks to attitudes for filling in.

I see I have nothing to do this turn anyway. That's nice and simple!
