On the ground and at sea? All automated. In space?

The dress uniform is incredibly flashy. The Admiralty wear white, double-breasted dress uniforms with their rank on their left breast. It has gold buttons, a gold fringed epaulette with a red circle on the top on the left shoulder, and a purple half shoulder cape with gold lining on the right shoulder. Medals are hung underneath the rank insignia. They also wear a simple white cap with gold markings on the front and a black rim. Members of the Admiralty are encouraged to wear their dress uniforms during battle, in case they should fall in battle. That way, they may serve as additional intimidation for any enemies going through the wreckage, or inspiration for allies. Captains wear similar uniforms without the half shoulder cape.

Other officers similarly wear a simple double-breasted black dress uniform with gold buttons, their rank insignia on their left breast, and two gold epaulettes with a red circle in the middle of the top. They wear a black cap with gold and red markings on the front and a black rim. While members of the Admiralty and captains wear a white shirt and white tie, the lower ranking officers wear a black shirt with a red tie.

The very few enlisted in the Star Armada (most positions usually held by enlisted crew are automated), wear a simple black double-breasted uniform with black buttons, a black shirt and red tie. They wear simple red garrison side caps for formal occasions. That's the dress uniform, anyway. Otherwise, they wear black pants and dark gray shirts.

Yeah, everyone has a relatively fancy dress uniform. No camo, because it's a space fleet.

Hmm, thats going to depend a lot on the branch and the service. I would say that clone trooper armor with a bit more Mandalorian influence probably accurately describes the militia branches and the Imperial Army (and clones). Athenian armor is basically Mjolnir armor, and so would be very close. For our space sailors, they will usually be wearing their mechanic gear, a uniform with a significant amount of extra pockets for tools, and wish is designed to fit into a pressure suit in case of emergency. The boots of the uniform have gravity locks, allowing them to stay on a surface, even in zero-G.

For officers, lower ranks across the service tend to be similar. The dress uniforms tend towards solid, darker colors (blacks, greys, navy blues) with a modest amount of medals or other decoration. For the higher-rank officers, such as any flag officer, the uniform is still modest but will invariably have some reference to the officer's culture-a Norse naval officer may have a stylized longship on his uniform, while a Martian general in the VM Defense Corps will have a symbol of Mars somewhere. Color-wise, as mentioned, we tend towards the darker colors. Greens, black/greys, and gold are by far the most common colors on any uniform. White uniforms in the Army are reserved for cadets, while the Navy uses dress-whites for flag officers and Marines only. Here is an example of a Space Marine armor, outside of the Athenian Corps

On every uniform, the right shoulder has two flag patches. The first, topmost flag is the Mobius flag. The second lower flag is the nationality flag, and refers not to the soldier's nation of origin, but his/her/its branch (for example, a NVC militiamen will have the NVC flag while the Nejenabi would have a Nejenabi flag). For the Mobius branches without such nationality (the Imperial Army, Armada, and Space Force), the lower flag is replaced with a gold Mobius strip on a black background.

You can use teh Empire and Republic from Star Wars or the UNSC from Halo as good examples of our uniforms.

Yeah, the uniforms for the Ceonian Admiralty and Captains were based off of mostly the grand admiral uniform in star wars (and, to a lesser extent, Orson Krennic's uniform), but with a lot of added twists.

What is your nations' flag? And besides your flag, what other symbols of your nation exist? Be they animals, buildings/structures, or other symbols.

For Mobius flags:

All flags_small.png
All flags_small.png (19.4 KiB) Viewed 220 times

From top, clockwise: Mobius, Pacifica, India, Valles Marineris, Neo-Viking Confederacy, Nejenab

Symbols/Animals:
Pacifica-Palm Tree, sharks, the Southern Cross, and kangaroos
India-Elephants, historical Indian flags (especially for individual territories). That is the Ashoka Chakra in the Indian flag, a symbol of Hindusim and reincarnation found on the ancient Indian flags as well.
Valles Marineris-the flag has a stylized version of Mars, showing the Red planet alongside Phobos and Deimos.
Mobius-Mobius strips

Anything else:
Mobius flags are generally designed by using a Nordic cross as a starting point. (Obviously, the NVC flag was first). The cross is black for Mobius, NVC, and Nejanebi flags; for Pacifica, blue; for Valles Marineris, red; other territories generally use the color of their founding nation (ie a Pacifican colony may use blue, while a Norse colony black) or select another color based on other features (Dune has selected a flag with a yellow stripe to signify the desert).
Any regional symbols are in the upper left-hand corner, to distinguish a regional flag from the greater Mobius flag. Green rectangles adorn the other quadrants of the flags. As an example of a symbol not shown, the Nights Watch of Hadrians Wall has been known to use a flag similar to the NVC, but with a wall and stars/moon to show Hadrian, and has a battle flag that is an inverted Mobius flag (thus mostly black).

The UMC has a varying number of military uniforms - and typically not all that expectant for combat. With the way our military is designed, the soldiers seeing frontline combat will primarily consist of those in Infantry Combat Suits - who are described here. Other soldiers are found as gunners and pilots - manning tanks, planes, flying ships, etc, and not meant to see actual combat outside of their vehicles. Their failsafe tends to be in the form of an advanced version of the Guevara Passive Armor that our militia utilizes - a variation which uses a nanobot storage system to save space (the Guevara armor is a suit of passive armor that has both metal armor and a shield generator, along with repulsors to make it weightless to the user - but provides no weaponry). Likewise, militia have those same suits.

The uniform itself is made out of chameleon cloth - a high quality anti-ballistic material that can resist impact and blend into the background, though by no means considered 'adequate' protection for the UMC (the Guevara is *barely* qualifying as adequate there, for the modern battlefield - and that puts a plasma shield + actual armor in between the user and the enemy). The design of these uniforms differ based on many factors - the different branches of the military, along with off-world divisions having their own style (eg - Mars and Sigma Draconis having their own variants of uniforms for the divisions stationed/composed from there). Rank is indicated by patches on the shoulders - with generals otherwise wearing essentially the same uniform as their soldiers. There is also room for individuality often - the Martian divisions in particular are infamous for their uniforms having a wide range of color and cut, to either represent their home commune or just their choice. However, during wartime these allowances tend to be a bit more restricted into the 'standard' style of dress.

I'll do flag now. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Se4HChEcKAk5apnqdKZKrKI0t2JMGtzr/view?usp=sharing The Federal flag has a background of deep blue, to represent the vastness of space which has long been the home of our spacefaring people. In the top left corner, there are thirteen red stars, representing all of our united socialist systems, in a circle surrounding a white gear and golden wheat, which represent the workers and peasants of our fair nation.

The Federal Armada is entirely automated. However, when the sentient AI which run the ships come down to the planet in their own bodies, they are entitled to wear a dress uniform. It is comparatively simple, dark blue jacket and grey pants with gold buttons and rank.

The active duty military uniform is different from many nations, in that Venusians rely on primarily their gene-mods to protect them, regarding combat suits as a waste of space. They have cuttlefish leather clothing, a tough and durable material that has the same color-changing property as Venusian skin. In combat or field training, it will shift to match the terrain. They have a noncombat uniform as well, of a uniform tan color. Both uniforms have the Circle of Stars, Gear, and Wheat emblem on the shoulder, but in the combat uniform the colors are muted to greens and browns. They have a thick helmet in combat, covered with cuttlefish leather, but the noncombat uniform uses a cap.

The main symbols of Ceona (and also Cyon) are the eagle (although the exact shape of the eagle often changes with each regime) and the Red Sun (often depicted as a solid red circle in the Eagle's chest). The colors of Ceona are Gold, Purple, and Red.

Gold is symbolic of wealth and culture, red is symbolic of bravery and strength, and purple is symbolic of passion and nobility. The Eagle is symbolic of the empire and greatness, and the sun represents the sentiment that the sun will never set on the nation, that the nation is unified as one people, and that the nation is a beacon of hope and light for the world.

The Royal sigil of the Taylor dynasty serves duel roles as it is also the nations flag. The Orange background represents the tough climate of the desert environment and the struggle of its people. The yellow sun represent the kingdoms bright future, its American origin, and its devotion to god. The blue downwards facing sword represent the Taylor's defense of its citizens, it proud militia tradition, and the subservience of its citizens to the monarchy.
