Versailles-style Format on WitA?

Would it be terribly difficult to code a new variant, like Versailles, but on the WitA map - for five players, with each player controlling two nations?

Anyone else think this could work, or is there a fundamental issue with this that I'm missing?

First thing we would need to do is to decide which countries are the 'majors' and which are the 'minors'.

I think I'll start a new thread to get opinions. I'm only starting a new thread to give it a bit more visibility, since a lot of people don't see Suggestions.
