- There are only two countries, and they are always Select countries (so one player chooses attacker and the other defender)
- Each starts with its normal unit allocations, the other countries just do not exist
- In 2pc games one country is specified by the game creator as the Attacker and the other as the Defender
- No 2pc game lasts beyond the 12th year - so for example, in Standard games this means the end of 1912
- If either player reaches 18 SCs before then, they win (with one exception)
- There are no Surrender/Replacements. Instead, Surrender becomes Concede, immediately finishing the game with a win to the other country
- If noone reaches 18, the Defender wins
- The exception to the 18 SC victory condition is if both countries reach 18 centres in the same Build phase (including the last one), in which case the Attacker wins
This game is modeled on Diplomacy lore that generally considers France defending from Austria as a good balance due to their locations. However the Playdip version does not restrict people from playing whatever combination they want. Mind you, you should probably think very carefully about playing England in a challenge

In the end, it's just supposed to be fun

Probably goes without saying, but 2pc games are Friends games. However they do NOT need a password.
