Shuffle variant

In 1901, every starts out the same. However, there is one change:
The shuffle rule!
Every winter phase, every player loses all of their SCs and units and gains an equivalent amount of SCs randomly. Then they build, and we start the next year.

So for example:
France starts, obviously, with Paris, Brest and Marseilles. They manage to capture Portugal, Spain, and Brussels.
During the winter, they lose all of these SC's and randomly gain London, Moscow, Ankara, Sevastpool, Rome and Denmark.

Then they play another year.

Madness will ensue.


This is just a wacky variant I just thought of. Any thoughts?

I like it. That pretty much forces you to rearrange yourself every year, and potentially can stop stalemates from forming. Nice rule.

Ohh, I very much like this idea. Such a simple rule, so much chaos. I love it.

This gives a whole new dimension to diplomacy. Reputation becomes much more important. Love it.

Questions:
- I assume this will be build everywhere?
- Will builds be before or after reshuffling?
- Will your units also be moved, or just which centres you own? So after winter 1901, when France gets London, Moscow, Ankara, Sevastpool, Rome and Denmark, will his units also move, or will he end up with those territories but his units still in Portugal, Spain, Brussels (already capturing centres now owned by someone else)
