Not to be one of those "crazy Americans, always thinking they're the best" but Britain really can't annex the land they lost.

Britain can't beat the US in a war strongly enough to make the US give up those areas.

We didn't have a government in the Revolutionary War, and it turned out well enough.

And I'm pretty sure if anything can get our political parties to work together, it's an invasion of the US.

We might not be better, but there are a lot more of us...

Too long didn't watch: If congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling above 17 trillion on October 17th America goes bankrupt. Then the fun begins

Sure, the debt ceiling can cause the Treasury to have to go drastic to prevent itself from defaulting, but that's only if Congressmen can quit being whiny dicks and just pass a law to raise the ceiling that they were going to do in the end anyway.

Also, unlike Denmark's debt ceiling (the only other one to actually do such a thing) which is simply a formality that comes after their budget is passed and accounts for possible unforeseen debts that my rise up, the US one causes useless political controversy that just annoys the hell out of me. JUST PASS THE F*CKING LAW- DON'T BICKER LIKE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS.
