ODC Medal Round - anonymous tournament VOTE

Its very unhelpful to debate the final medal round where you cant post anonymously.

Some/all games are at a CRITICAL juncture

Either start a thread within Find a game as advised earlier...

Could SuperDispy Temporarily suspend the lock on debating it as Dolph?

I feel this is extremely unfair and this take precedence over any authority you feel you may have.

To be clear Jensen you are not in charge of this tournament the participants are. The servant leader.

Everyone is grateful for you taking charge and getting things going a but it doesnt mean you are a dictator

Voting pre the final means the result is skewed by self interest

I propose a vote NOW before more games otherwise people are going to vote with their feet later and not play in it.

Like Dolph, Dolph can't conceive of a tournament where the board top of the final board doesn't win the tournament. Or where the 7th player qualifying not only gets the power no-one else wants, also needs a solo to win. Take that for not doing better in the preliminaries or more likely, for being unlucky. It makes no sense to Dolph. It will result in an unpleasant game of maths, metagaming and jumping on the players who qualified at the top. And after all that, the winner is unlikely to be the winner.

Surely it has to be a blank slate and level playing field going into a final board. Otherwise what's the point of playing.

It is unfortunate to have to change rules after they have been set, but in this case, Dolph says it's probably a necessary democracratic change if the majority of players think the current rules for the final are so badly flawed.
