Four Seasons Blind Auction

Postby attitudes » 13 Dec 2012, 18:49

As always, I'm intrigued by blind auctions. This one was no different. There were no ties.

The game is now officially underway. Your Winter 1900 deadline is:

Monday, December 17th at 9:00 pm Pacific time.

*there was an error in the blind auction results (bids by sroca and mr bump were reversed) however all parties agreed to allow the posted results to stand.

Interesting, I was the only one who saw the potential magic of Turkey

A couple people had >1 bids on Turkey. I think it's safer to say that joelsdaman saw the beauty of Austria while the rest of the crowd saw the beast.

I was just really sick of Austria, 1 too many bad games with that.

I'm now addicted to thinking of menacing troop movements, such as Italy in Berlin or France in Vienna :o

I love playing Austria (though Germany is still my favourite). But you can't always play the same country.

And, I have to admit... I think picking Austria in this variation is brave.
Draw in Diplomacy Stew 2, playing Italy
Winner Four Seasons, playing England
Draw in Layered, playing Yellow (Russia + Turkey)
Winner Shuffle, playing Turkey
Winner Vain Rats 4, playing France

... but first you must learn how to smile as you kill.

Why thank you :) but I love Austria. My favorite country. No long, drawn-out losses. Either you lose early, or win big
How is an atomic wedgie different from a regular wedgie?

Let's find out.
