I think this calls for applause for Turkey. He outlives Austria, well almost. WTF. :o Furthermore, he rejected the DIAS proposal. Brilliant work.
More than half of Diplomacy games are ruined because players leave them half-way.

Even England might well outlive Austria. Pretty impressive on his account as well.
Draw in Diplomacy Stew 2, playing Italy
Winner Four Seasons, playing England
Draw in Layered, playing Yellow (Russia + Turkey)
Winner Shuffle, playing Turkey
Winner Vain Rats 4, playing France

... but first you must learn how to smile as you kill.

If Turkey hadn't messed up, Austria would probably still be strong.

Not impressive at all.

When did Turkey mess up?

Anyway Austria really brought this upon himself by insisting on attacking Italy when it clearly was a bad idea. But perhaps that is something for the AAR.

Well now. I know it was me refused the last DIAS, but looking at the board now I wonder whether either of the big two has the nerve for High Noon, leaving the rest of us to act as Kingmakers?

DIAS proposed.
