Pausing a Live game?

Postby rocketvat » 22 Aug 2020, 19:30

Hi, I'm hosting a live game for friends soon and someone just gave us notice that they won't be able to stay the entire session.

We're willing to break up our Live game into two sessions using the Pause function, but I was worried that pausing the game past the 6 hour "live game" timer would make it so it resumed using 12 hour turns.

Can anyone clarify exactly how pausing interacts with the live game rules?

The Live game simply works from the time it starts and the length. You can't 'store up' time by Pausing it. So if you start a game at 6pm for 3 hour Live period and Pause it after an hour, it still moves to a non-live game at 9pm.
