Important topics for serious debate

Postby Strategus » 01 Sep 2019, 13:48

Like I just heard a debate on the radio this morning, regarding scones. The hot topic was jam first or clotted cream. I don't know. I tried both. Anyway, there are other hot topics that need the attention of the gurus. Like "scone" should be pronounced like "bone" and "zone". Right? Should eggs be opened at the thick end or thin? Should you butter crackers on the bobbly side or smooth? I go for thick and bobbly. And most importantly, should Bovril EVER be put on toast? Like, it's a drink ffs. And finally, what is the point of cous cous?
