Back on topic...

I don't usually feel guilty about stabbing. But if I liked the player, and he had been a good ally, I'll often send a message after the fact to explain why I did it (going for the solo, usually) and to make it clear he had been a fine ally, and it was nothing against him - it's just Diplomacy.

Most of the time they're fine about it, and understand it's part of the game. Those that get all riled up over it are generally the ones I've already eliminated.

Though I do like seeing Grumpy go off when he feels the knife in his back. It's quite a sight. ;)
