Hmm. I saw you say that you didn't mind most of the stuff Smith had listed, so I just assumed it was included as "stuff shadow doesn't mind." If you also think that's a bridge too far, cool then.
Well, as a player I don't mind it, because I don't think it puts either faction at an advantage or a disadvantage. It's not indicative at all... if townies read it as such they are being stupid. As a GM it might be a different story - I think it's not respectful towards the GM. But it's not an angleshoot, because scum don't gain anything by it. It's just a crappy and disrespectful thing to do, but it doesn't gain anyone anything.
So like betting a username, it's not an angleshoot because scum can fake it. But that doesn't mean I think it's a good play.
