So there is a lone killer who wins with the mafia and the group mafia can talk has no kill, forcing them to try harder to control the lynch than in a normal game? Sounds interesting. I'm in.

Zerix: Exactly, the mafia has to worry about the night kill too (I added an addendum to the rules since I didn't make this clear). Without going into strategy, the mafia has more people than normal (9:4 is pretty mafia-sided in general), but there's a chance they end up getting shot at night, so they have to put those people to good use during the day, and the lack of communications with one of it's members makes life harder for the mafia.

This 'little twist' is such a deviation from 'the core mechanic', i'm actually not sure how to play this.
And i like that
