5 Player Diplomacy- Spring of Year 4

Postby Yhanthlei » 02 Jun 2011, 21:25

With the dawn of the new year we see Solar expansion to the east and entangling lines of battle in the south, Black Hole loses to the north and advances to the south, generally successful Blue and Green maneuvers, with the exception of a misunderstood canal system, and poor news for the embattled People's Republic army.

Notably, the phase sees no needed retreats and the last neutral territory has been claimed by a Blue move to the south coast of Wolverine.

As a reminder, the canal is not a teleportation device. It allows a fleet to move between (and as such support between) the two provinces of ste and bok despite them being on opposite sides of a landmass. Essentially, it is two constantinoples side by side, and just as one can not move directly from the Aegean to the Black Sea one can not move directly from the western chromatic sea to the western trade routes.

Nautalus has notified me in advance that he will not be able to play after the 10th. We will continue the game as normal for now, and I will set up a request for a backup player so that the transition can happen to not detriment of the Black Hole Republic.

Orders for Fall of Year 4 will be due Saturday, June 4th at 10pm Pacific Time (Sunday, June 5th at 5am GMT).

Both of Yhanthlei's games don't have one--it's a GM thing.

But I agree; it's helpful for players.

I think Pedros asked rick.leeds to make one, but somehow it never happened...

Probably because rick.leeds is sick in leeds.

But shouldn't Pedros (being this forum's mod) have that power?

I asked rick.leeds as well more than once, and nothing's happened. When I spoke to Pedros about it before, he said to PM rick.leeds, so I don't know what exactly has happened.
