5 Player Diplomacy- Winter of Year 1

Postby Yhanthlei » 12 May 2011, 23:44

We round out the first year with a great amassing of arms from newly unified, liberated, or conquered lands. Yellow's security measures adversely affect it's production capabilities, as the Emperor is forced to construct the new fleet in the more distant port of wasp. The Black Hole army's naval buildup encircles the Sea of Comets, positioning it as a potentially powerful force in northern politics. The Ultramarine Primarch commits to expansion along the northern waters, raising a powerful fleet but leaving the nation's southern shore exposed. Time will tell if this trust is well-placed. The Green Emperor gains the most from the year's expansion, raising two symmetrical fleets and the game's first Green army. The Red army is left sadly out of the loop, its army and economy wracked with civil unrest as its senators, lobbyists, and common people debate whether to continue the war effort.

I'm going to start paying WAY more attention to this game now. I needed to clear up a few life things. I'm all for the break in play because it gives me time to catch up on diplomatic relations.

I would like to change my country name to Solar Plexus Republic.

Naarkus has chosen to Abdicate leadership of the Red army, and a call has gone out for a mercenary general, political rival, or treacherous vizier to take over that nation's armed forces and diplomatic corps. This timing works well, given the weekend break taking place anyway, so as long as a new player is found soon the order deadline will remain the same.

Ray56, sure. I would recommend Solar Republic, to fit in with the astronomy naming scheme, but it's your nation.

Solar Republic will work. So, are we giving orders on Tuesday or by tomorrow?

Spring of Year 2 orders are due 10pm Tuesday Pacific Time (6am Wednesday GMT). I'll process orders earlier if I get non-provisional orders from everyone before the deadline.

Greetings from the newly reformed People's Republic of Hong! After a our ineffectively previous leader was "encouraged" to leave, I have taken control and hope to lead the people to glory. I am announcing all previous agreements with our nation null and void and I am open to any all suggestions and plans for the future.
Best to get me at night (8pm to 12pm EDT)
