Below is a list of people who have volunteered to act as Mentors.

If you are looking for a mentor game to play in and learn:
Check out the Mentoring sub-forum and post a reply on the most recent game thread asking to be put on the list, or send a private message ("PM") to a mentor below and ask about the status of games.

Mentors will set-up a SCHOOLS category game. This allows them to take the role of "Teacher". The teacher can see all messages sent between players and see the Public Press box. If you have a question you can ask the teacher a question and s/he can answer it without any partiality as they aren't playing in the game.

If you are looking to help the mentoring effort:
New volunteers should post on this thread to indicate your interest in joining the Mentors Group (which will give you access to the Mentors Only sub-forum).

We especially need veteran players to help fill out games and replace surrendered positions in mentor games. Post your name on the latest game advertised in the sub-forum and we will put you on the veteran standby list.

Please don't start a mentor game until you've been added to the group and can access the above sub-forum. This isn't to prevent people from becoming mentors (although we will screen applicants) but to help organize the initiative better.
