All added and thank you.

We're at 42. Unfortunately I have limited internet time until Wednesday so I'm not closing sign-ups. Any more we get between now and then will be added to the list as reserves... unless we get to 49 of course ;)

Sign-ups will close on Wednesday 13 April and I'll then find a ranking for all involved and send you details of your Divisions. It will then be up to you how quickly you respond to the vote on whether games will be ranked or not for your division (which will be by PM). If we can get that from everyone asap we'll start next weekend (starting Sat 16 April).

You can put me down as either a reserve or in the next bunch.

Sign-ups will now close tomorrow... just haven't had time to get things sorted today, sorry. I am still accepting reserve sign-ups, however.

I guess this is a bit late now, but is there any reason we need 2 days for gunboat movement turns (but only one for retreats and builds)? Is it because an NMR in a movement turn is more devastating than on a retreat or build phase?

It's because it's a tournament. Not being able to access the net for a day isn't good... and that could be as bad for retreats and builds, I know, but the thinking is that should players need extra thinking time maybe that would be necessary for moves rather than builds, retreats. It's all speed deadlines so it can be that players enter their orders then finalise. For Gunboat two days may prove unnecessary but we'll start at that and see about it in Season Two... maybe give players the option to reduce it to one day for moves for game two.
