It is with no small amount of disappointment that I call a halt to this game. No, my wife has not gone into labour. I just think that whilst this variant is viable and when played correctly would be very successful, I think the enthusiasm for it that was there at the beginning of Philby's thread ever really made it into the game. I accept I made some mistakes as GM but for a first time I consider it to be a learning curve. I would like in the new year to start a new game of the same variant but for now this thing has- as nermal put it- it just isnt fun anymore.

I am very disappointed with myself and think probably I should and could have done better, by I would like some feedback all the same. Not on the GMing- goodness knows I can see where I went wrong!!- but feedback on the game. I would very much like a few AAR's on what action there was. Arent you all dying to know what your Agendas were? Did anyone work it out? Was there a theme? Did anyone tell their agenda or lie about it?

I'd like to know so we can all see how the game dynamic was changed- who had an easier time, who had it tough, what agendas dont suit.... I basically want to know what I can improve for the next game I GM (if I am allowed to do it again!).

If a few AAR's go up i'll list all the agendas and put them open to discussion.

I enjoyed the game and would like to play again, but it just isn't viable to play via PM and forum thread. I find that too hard - and I'm sure it's too hard for the GM. It's too hard to send messages, and too hard to toggle between messages and board position.

That's why I think we should reconvene as a non-rank game in the new year.

SK, As I've told you in PM and here. I love the concept of this game. As a rule forum games are difficult becuase you don't see them on your games page. This might work better as a non-rank game. Perhaps we can find someone who is willing to hand out the agendas so that you can play with us :)
