That's what we did.

OK. I withdraw all my suggestions and return to our original programming.

Once we've had the tournament, we can discuss how well (or not) the site scoring system worked. That should be fun.

i have one better proposal

let's default at the site's scoring system, and have several systems as auxiliary in place.
then we can judge which scoring system was best and on the NEXT tourny we can have it in place

Actually the only factor to be considered by 'everyone' is the scoring system we will use. Anyone that has the time and inclination can review the results of all games and apply the various scoring systems to them to come up with the scores under different systems and then post them up for everyone to see. There is no need for consensus among the players to do that so feel free to proceed Mistic as you wish.

I agree, lets use the sites scoring method and then if people want to compare it after the fact, then so be it.

What I was thinking to do is using the score system of the website for the tournament and using another system (which I will bring up later) as a tie-breaker after the qualification and the final (if the qualification score is the same too). Everything will be explained pretty clear when I write the final rules for the torunament and distribute them to all participants.

As long as we are already talking about the next tournement, I would suggest that we name someone who will act as the Tournement Historian (record keeper) for all Premium "sanctioned" tournements. By keeping complete records of the outcome, rivalry can be developed which might make future tournements more interesting.

It would also permit "updates" to the system, should future tournements use a slightly difference scoring method.
