Thanks guys.

As I said the 20th would be a good date for me, maybe 1-2 days before that if they let me out early. If I don't survive the surgery, lotr can have my place for all I care. ;)

Great! ;-)

I hope you don't die.... Even though I wouldn't mind having your place. ;)

Harp, the final game, is stuck with England at 17 and the other powers have seemed to be able to hold him off everywhere so far unless someone makes a big mistake or NMRs.

Anyone want to calculate the points if the game ends like it is set right now?

Also this game is 24 hour turns so, assuming there will be 2 moves, 2 retreats, and 1 build that means from Fall 1912 to 1915 we have a max of about 22-23 days more right? I doubt we will have any more retreats or builds which means, for tournament purposes, the game could be over as soon as 6-8 days (with weekend stoppage) from now assuming there are only move turns which end up stalemating and no units change position or change hands. That seems to fit with the timeframe we are discussing with the game starting about the 20th.

Harp is not stalemated. England can still win it. Next year, even.

But England, please don't. :(

Lotr please do NOT give advice to the players in the game again. I deleted your post.

I'm not saying there is no way for England to win, or the other powers to get a center, I'm saying only that it has been stuck for the last couple turns and the other powers seem to have him stalemated.

Sorry, I didn't mean to give away advice. I just looked at the game, and it seems obvious. I won't do it again though.

Thanks Lotr. It may very well end this turn but lets not make it any easier on them.

Like Bit, I'm in hospital for an Op this month. For me it's removing some pins and plates from my leg on the 21st. I'm told I'll be out by the 23rd, so 24th April I should be good to go. Unfortunately that's a Friday and with the weekend option off then it's going to be a very long Spring 1901. If that a problem, I will do my best to make the 23rd, but if that's too late a start I'm open to other suggestions.... other than not turn up for the operation ;)

In summary 24th is better, 23rd OK. 21st/22nd I'm in La-La Land.
